Business Analyst

Alpha Fintech is looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing team in our Dublin office. As a Business Analyst you will contribute to the development of our AlphaHub platform. We are looking for a hard-working, self-motivated individual who will help drive performance within our platform development. Working with the Head of Product Development, IT Development and Operations teams you will be an integral team member who will help influence the development of our product roadmap.

The Business Analyst will create requirements for new feature development. They will be expected to critically analyse the product roadmap and will be encouraged to voice their ideas to help improve the platform.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland (European Union citizen or work visa holder)

Responsibilities

  • Interact with the various teams to review and create requirements and use cases
  • Interact with QA and review test cases to ensure all aspects of requirements are tested
  • Support and drive integrations with external service providers/platforms
  • Support customers in their integration to and with testing on the platform
  • Review and approve output from User Acceptance Testing
  • Ensure PCI compliance is considered as part of all platform changes
  • Update external documentation for each release
  • Support any customer queries post implementation of a release and support development teams post release as required
  • Research market to define new features that should be considered for the roadmap
  • Review third party products and services to assess their suitability for integration
  • Continually refine and enhance standards for requirement definition and documentation outputs

Skills and Experience

  • Degree (or higher) in Business, IT related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years business analysis/product management experience
  • Experience of reviewing integration of APIs including XML and JSON an advantage
  • Knowledge of global payment methods, credit card processing, payment systems, payment integrations, and payment message formats / standards desirable
  • Experience of web based application testing and UI design an advantage
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Willingness to travel

Marketing Coordinator

Alpha Fintech is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team in our Dublin office. We’re looking for a full-stack marketer, with a blend of strong on- and off-line marketing, business development, analytical and operations experience.

As Marketing Coordinator you will lead the development of the Alpha Fintech brand strategy. You will be an independent, self-motivated individual, who will develop and drive Alpha Fintech’s marketing and communications strategy. Working internationally across multiple teams and stakeholders, you will play an integral role within the company.

Key Roles:

  • Brand & Messaging Development – work with key stakeholders to create, hone and deliver clear and concise messaging.
  • Communicate Alpha Fintech’s messaging to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage all PR and Media Relations – seek opportunities and channels to communicate relevant company stories and content.
  • Maintain website with appropriate updates, and manage inbound queries.
  • Maintain and manage company social channels and other corporate properties.
  • Develop marketing collateral – sales documentation and promotional material such as sales decks.
  • Creation and development of business proposals – manage input from multiple stakeholders and deliver effective proposals against strict deadlines
  • Support the sales team to move prospective clients along the sales pipeline. Support the team during corporate events – organise necessary materials and supplies.
  • Plan the launch of new product releases and support the relevant teams in implementing launch plans.

Necessary Skills:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Effective problem solving and the ability to work against strict deadlines
  • Adobe InDesign or similar publishing software
  • Adobe Photoshop or similar image editing software
  • Adobe Premiere or similar video editing software
  • Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS
  • Microsoft PowerPoint

Beneficial Skills:

  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Premiere or similar video editing software
  • HTML/CSS knowledge
  • Past Experience in Technological, Software, IT services, Digital agency or SaaS industries
